Chris Armstrong was drafted per Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft in the third round, 57th overall. He never played the game for the Panthers, though. Around 1998, a Nashville Predators claimed him within the expansion draft and then in 1999 he was signed as a free agent by the San Jose Sharks. A Minnesota Uncivilized so claimed him in the 2000 NHL expansion draft. When swimming inside various leagues, like a WHL, IHL, and AHL, he made a go for it to the NHL for threesome games in the 2000-01 with the Minnesota Uncivilized. His tenure as a Untamed didn't go hanker, though, when a New York Islanders signed him as a free professional around 2001. He didn't play his next NHL game until when he was signed as a absolutely free! professional per Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 2003. He played 5 games for the Ducks in the 2003-04 season. Presently, he is swimming in the Deutsche Eishockey League in Germany for the Ingolstadt ERC.
